Margate Pride is committed to creating inclusive opportunities in the arts and ensuring that all members of our community are represented and celebrated. As we celebrate ten years of Margate Pride, we are excited to announce an Open Call opportunity for LGBTQIA+ artists aged 55 and over as part of our 2026 Summer Festival, supported by Arts Council England. 
We recognise that older artists can face barriers to visibility and access within the UK art world. As an intersectional organisation, Margate Pride aims to address these inequalities and dedicate this platform to amplify the voices and talents of artists aged 55+.
UK-based artists are defined as those currently living and working in the UK.
