Margate Pride is a DIY grassroots Pride and cannot happen without our wonderful volunteers! There are several roles that need filling, and you play an essential part of the day!
For Pride day on 12th August, we have several shifts at the bandstand. Roles include welcoming people at the ticket desk; directing people to the welfare tent if needed; smiling; answering questions; encouraging people to complete our essential feedback forms; dancing; helping with litter picking and directing visitors to bins! spreading joy and petting dogs.
We also need stewards in the parade! You will receive training beforehand (via zoom session) and a briefing on the day as well as being fed & watered : )
You can only reserve one donation ticket at a time, they cannot be purchased in multiples. If you require more than one ticket you must repeat the ticket booking process.
One donation ticket is one person entry.
Children are required to have a ticket – one ticket is one child entry.
Tickets are issued electronically as e-tickets and are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable. If it rains the event will go ahead and remember you will not receive a refund. Do not offer tickets for sale or for free on social media platforms, if this happens your tickets will be cancelled. If you can’t attend please cancel your e-tickets on Eventbrite as this will allow people that have signed up to the waitlist to attend the event.
If you have not received your e-tickets 72 hours before the event, it is your responsibility to contact Eventbrite or GRASS Cliftonville CIC via Eventbrite . It is your responsibility to inform us of any change of details including address and email address.
